Sablet Village in Provence

Where to stay - what to do

We rented a property owned by a young English woman  Pippa Gabriel (No. FR4498) who owns several properties in the village - all beautifully restored in the traditional. style and very comfortable.  We enjoyed having our own private garden with barbecue, table, fresh growing herbs etc.  Even a beautiful tree for shade.  We were there for 2 weeks from 5th September 2010.

We made all our bookings online, and we found Pippa to be businesslike and helpful.  We hired bikes from her also and they were excellent, with good helmets.

Everything you need is available in the village - just a minutes walk away.  Just a good cycle ride to Vaison-la-Romaine and a fantastic market.

Lots of beautiful villages within a 20 km radius.

Wonderful wine country - Cotes du Rhone; Chateau Neuf du Pape etc.  Enjoy a day's guided tour and tasting with French-fluent Englishman, Olivier Hickman - you'll find him at www.wine-uncovered.com
