Le Tour de Greerton
Fun French Walkabout
- If you haven’t already heard about it… come and discover Greerton while learning French !
Date: Wednesday October 9th 2019 NOTE THE DATE CHANGE
Time: Rendez-vous is from 5pm onwards under the cherry blossoms in Greerton Village Square, next to the Zest Café, in Chadwick Road but I’ll be in the square until about 6.30pm for any late arrivals. The walkabout will go until about 7pm maximum. Afterwards, we’ll check the answers at the café and anyone who wants to can grab a bite to eat together.
Bring: Yourself, your friends, your partners, your kids, in fact anyone who wants to have some fun, plus $1 for the photocopies. Any dictionaries or digital devices are welcome. -This is NOT a test.
Format: You will be given a set of instructions - go left, right etc. and a set of questions (in French) to answer as you go along. There will be one set of questions for beginners and a different set for the more advanced.
Weather: The forecast looks OK but the evenings can be chilly. Be prepared to wrap up warm. If the weather is too bad, the Promenade Surprise will be held the following Wednesday at the same time and place.
