A fabulous month away

We returned from our travels late last week after a fabulous month away, most of that time in France. 4 nights in Paris then train to Joigny for 1 night and picked up our canal boat from there. We had 8 days going down the Canal du Nivernais and finished in Corbigny. From there train to Vienne for 1 night then train to Nice for 4 nights.
I loved using the bit of French I know and had the best time with all the French people we met on our travels. What lovely,helpful people they are. Had lots of laughs at times. Claire even tried to communicate which was great and a challenge but we got there in the end.
