FRANCE’S ATLANTIC COAST, particularly The Vendee is a fabulous region, lots of sunshine, plenty of clean sandy beaches, places to visit and activities for families to enjoy…. certainly recommended.
The picture above is the “Tonton Auguste Bar”, St Jean de Monts, Vendee - Where Gordon worked as a barman after completing his tourism degree.
Long stretches of wild sand beaches and lively resort towns, salt marshes, maritime pines, old time fairs, dinosaur park, waterslides, canoeing and a crepe cooking lesson were amongst the highlights from this section of Gordon's family trip.
